 Post subject: 2 newrok connections

Ok i have a problem and i cant seem to figure out whats going on. When i reboot my computer i end up with 2 connections:
HOME Private
Undedefined Public

they both say connected to the Internet but i want the 2nd one to go away sinc ei have no clue were it came from. also the only way i can get internet access
is if i disable the network card. then re-inable it they it will only set up HOME network again but as soon as i reboot this 2nd one is there again. PLEASE any help her would be cool

How many network cards are installed in the computer? On the network Connections screen how many connections are listed? You've posted this in the Windows 7 forums but your sig says you have Vista. Which OS are you using?

yea sorry i just was lazy and never did updat emy sig. its now changed to what my system is currently. But i got it fixed. it was weird if i used the newest Realtek Driver from there web site i got this problem, but if i used what MS Update had on there site the problem went away. so chalk i up to werid LOL

Glad to hear you got it sorted out. Drivers can cause all sorts of weird problems. Usually the manufacturer's latest is the best but as you found out, not always :wink:
